Citrine

Citrine is quartz that forms from a deep honey yellow to almost colorless. Smokey quartz begins its transformation into pale to dark brown as Citrine. It’s color comes from colloidal iron hydrates within the quartz (Si02) solution. Citrine is found in Brazil and Uruguay and as Citrine Candle Quartz in Africa.

Associated with the third chakra for mental clarity it can also be placed at the crown chakra to connection to the God-Consciousness.
